My closest friends, knowing my keen fashion sense and my caring attention to every fashion detail, will not be surprised to at last see this long awaited announcement. Yes, I have started a new business, Janie's of Scottsdale. Janie's first showing was timed for the elegant luncheon hosted by Rae at the English Rose Tea Room in Carefree, AZ. for her neighbor Bev, who will be moving to Wisconsin and will be missed by her neighbors. It was a wonderful affair. Of course, the pinnacle of the luncheon was the first showing of the Janie's of Scottsdale Design for the Dish - Lemon Cream Cake sweater set. The word on the street is that another new business, associated with "Janie's of Scottsdale", will be a boutique perfume shop to be called "Frisch Fragrances". The initial offering will be "Lemon 'n' Cream".
Dear Jane. What a fab idea. In addition to the 'Frisch Fragrances' such as the always popular 'Tuna Frisch' I predict your line will be so successful that you will need to take on a secondary line to appeal to the mass market, or to those who, like me, ate the entire piece of cake--a 'supersize me line' if you will. Fashion tip: no horizontal lines for us real women who have their cake and eat it too.
