Ever wonder?

When you see a road like this do you ever wonder what's around the corner? Today has been a great day driving the Great Basin Hwy. We've decided that we're coming back again and staying a while in the area around Great Basin National Park. You drive for miles without seeing a car and with great vistas everywhere. Coming into Angel Creek campground in the Humboldt National Forest near Wells, NV we traveled this magnificent road. I see a road like this and just get excited thinking of the possibilities of what's ahead. Do you? I'm never disappointed. This is a jewel of a campground nestled in the aspens surrounded by snow covered peaks and high desert valleys. The full moon is shining in our windows. It's late but the night is beautiful. We're headed into Idaho tomorrow and back to some toasty weather until we get north of Boise. We'll have a few days of sun but on Monday it looks like the rain begins no matter which way we head. Welcome to Oregon! I wonder too if we'll shrink and dissolve in the rain. What's it like to be wet and cold? Hoping the Sunriver name means there's some sun to be found there. Oh well, it's all about today and this has been a great one!
