We know some folks who have a Lazy Daze RV who have been camp hosting at Manzano Mountains State Park in New Mexico. Since this park was only a half hour drive from our next destination we decided to stop in and say "Hi". What a nice surprise. We both agree it's one of the nicest state parks we have seen. It's very remote and feels like you can reach out and touch the sky. You can hear a pin drop at night. They have wonderful trails and the park is clean, clean, clean thanks to the attention of the Ranger and his staff of volunteers. The Alligator juniper throughout the park are beautiful. If you ever find yourself in central NM looking for a place to park that tent or rv be sure to stop here.
