It's ocean time 6-1

We've talked of seeing the Pacific Ocean and finally we're here. We've arrived at the southern tip of Oregon at Harris Beach in Brookings. Ron and I have seen a lot of ocean beaches but there is nothing quite so beautiful as the southern Oregon coast. This is Ally's first opportunity to enjoy the beauty and fun of the Pacific.

I think she likes what she sees!

There's a beautiful pool created as the ocean rushes through a large crack in the rock.

The views are magnificent in all directions.

It's a bit of a hike down but with views like this it's easy.

You have to stop now and then to take it all in.

The waves crash and thunder as they hit the rocks and shoreline. It's noisy down here.

Now it's time to test the water over here in this quiet pool.

Ally decided to watch the timing of the waves before getting those toes too wet.

Here it comes!

Oh, that's cold!

Playing in the Pacific....now that's how to make it a great day!

What's this stuff?

Ah, some nice seaweed.

Isn't this what the beach is all about?
