We've traveled around the Washington Olympic Peninsula and now we're taking the ferry to Whidbey Island from Port Townsend, WA. From there we'll head for North Cascades National Park for a quick overnight in that beautiful mountainous countryside. Then we're off to Spokane for a night. Ally thinks she wants to drive our motorhome onto the ferry. Watch out below!
This is the first view of the mountains of Olympic National Park we've had in the last two days. The drive to the top of the mountain would have been foggy yesterday so we decided to stay low and camp on the Dungeness Spit. Our campsite overlooked the Strait of Juan de Fuca with a faint view of British Columbia, Canada across the water.

Good-bye to Port Townsend where we stayed last night at the County Fairground. It was fun for Ally and Grandma as there was a horse show there starting today. We got to watch them unload their horses and get ready to show this morning. Last night there were a couple of riders practicing for today's event. Charley and Denver had a few comments about those horses.
