Today, Sept.5, LuAnn and I took off to do the tourist thing and see the many sights of Yellowstone. LuAnn gasped and I immediately had a minor heart attack and then pulled off the road. Good call LuAnn! There was a Mommy Bear, and 2 Baby Bears learning how to climb a tree. The photos aren't great because they were just a little too far away and I didn't have my tripod (as Ron always tells me to carry). But it was so much fun watching them climb and tumble down. Black bears climb trees but the grizzly stays close to the ground. Guess I'll be practicing my tree climbing skills for when I encounter that grizzly. All in all - a beary good day!
