Home again, home again, jiggity jog!

We arrived home safe and sound after a Fabulous First RV Adventure. What fun we've had. Thanks to the "Blog Wizard, Sharon" for creating this blog. After much pain getting started it has been fun and as we go back through the blogs it's a great memory jogger for all the great times we had on the road.

Our last few days took us through the mountains south of Jackson, WY, into Idaho, through the canyons of Utah, and into Arizona for our last night on the road at Lake Powell. We saw signs of fall all the way home. We have been so lucky on this trip with perfect weather the entire time except for two days of rain. Our first full day of rain occurred in Steamboat Springs in July and our second day of rain occurred as we drove through southern Utah into Arizona! In Steamboat Springs we noticed everyone out washing their rigs when it rained. By the time we returned to AZ we too had learned this trick. It's all about the bug collection you create on your motorhome as you travel. Nothing like a little rain to soften things up.

We must admit we were thrilled to see the sun come out when the evening was upon us on Lake Powell. Nothing like a beautiful Arizona sunset to welcome us home!
