We were walking the dogs the other morning when there was a clear message, “Here’s your sign!” It had rained all night on the river but as we walked to a higher level of the campground we could see the snow on the mountains. I think it’s a sign of things to come and we’d best start moving.
Once again we didn’t leave the Blue River as planned last Sunday. We decided to stay another week just to enjoy the change of color of the aspens and the cool, crisp weather. So the weather decided to provide us with an Arizona Appreciation Week so we’ll be looking forward to the warm temps when we return home in about three weeks. We’ve had some rain, some 30 degree nights, and intermittently cool and warm days depending on those pesky clouds. This afternoon is warm and sunny, finally after a cool morning with clouds rapidly floating by. We’ll definitely be moving south next Sunday. I mean it this time as we are visiting our friends, Sandy and Larry, in NM next week.
