Today, August 27, 2006, was a banner day. LuAnn turned 65! Ouch! We had a huge celebration with much frivolity and good cheer. Okay, we ate the usual but we did sing "Happy Birthday" to her and we were camped in the very beautiful Hunter Peak NFS campground on the Clark's Fork River between Cooke City, MT and Cody, WY. That has to count for something. The water was so clear in that river that it looked like it was only an inch deep. We spent a very relaxing two days there after traveling across the Lamar Valley in the northern reaches of Yellowstone. We spent a night back at Slough Creek, where we had stayed for a week in early August, so she could experience the beauty of that area of the Park.
Good news in that she has completely passed RVing 101 and is moving onto more advanced courses. She continues to avoid the class on Blogging, however, she is now working on RVing 102 - R and R. We'll keep you posted on her progress.
