When we went to RV college in Idaho two years ago they kept telling us to check our tires every time we head out. Well, they were right! Ron checked our tires when we headed out yesterday and found one to be about 15 lbs. low so he started looking around and sure enough there was a nail firmly planted in the side wall of an outside rear tire. No way to communicate with the outside world by cell phone so we had to decide whether to drive with the nail still in 15 miles to the closest town or change the tire. I kept seeing the road with the Salmon River and no shoulder on one side and no shoulder on the other side and a possible blow out. We decided to change it. One of the campers whom we had helped the night before with info on traveling to Banff and Lake Louise was kind enough to help with muscle. What goes around comes around. In no time we were on the road and able to buy a spare in the next small town. So, always follow instructions!
