A mirage!

The rain we encountered at Butchart Gardens decided to follow us for a few days. We traveled to the northern Cascade route where we had a beautiful campsite along the Skagit River (July 21st). Fog danced on the river and through the mountains even though the day was warm. The river was running above normal as there had been rain there for several days. We were having dinner and looked out to see what looked like an RV floating down the river. Very strange feeling as we were parked right on the river’s edge. Were we going to be next? It was the fog playing tricks on us. An RV had pulled up on the other side of the river and the fog made it float!

JET here: I must tell you there is nothing funnier than seeing a grown woman walk across the campground with a head full of shampoo! That Dave was a little slow on the photo op thing. He missed it! Sandy had gone to take a shower at the campground shower that charged a quarter for three minutes. Obviously she has no sense of time or she would have gotten out of that shower sooner. Next time I bet she takes an extra quarter just in case! Thank goodness she remembered to take a towel.
