Larry and Kathy took me on a short, easy, 8 mile round trip hike up Gold Hill. Glad I was in such great shape as it made the switch backs just fly by! The view from the top overlooking the long bridge, Lake Pend Oreille, and the town of Sandpoint was breathtaking. What a beautiful place to live. Lake - Winter skiing - A beautiful town within walking and biking distance!
JET here: Don’t believe her. Look at the picture. Don’t you see the beads of sweat on her head? In great shape? You mean the Pillsbury Dough Boy look! Kathy and Larry hiked and dragged her. Switch backs fly by – Not!
