We left the mountains today and headed north and west on our way to WY. Sometimes we just need a work day and today was it. Driving, shopping, pet supplies, laundry. Occasionally real life interferes with the RV life style but the good thing is it only does so for about 3 hours every two weeks. We settled for the night at Highline Lake State Park just north of Grand Junction, CO. The park is an oasis of green with a small lake in high desert country. All in all a very pleasant stopover on our way north.
