Whoops, so I made a little mistake and failed to check my
"Mountain Directory West" for information on the drive on Rt. 139 from Grand Junction, CO towards Vernal, UT. If I had I might have gotten out the Dramamine for the doggies. It was quite a climb over Douglas Pass only to be followed by a climb out of Vernal to the Flaming Gorge Recreation Area near Dutch John, UT. I knew that one was a whopper as we had come down 9 switchbacks into Vernal from the north last year. Two whoppers in one day. Toughen up you guys!
Note to Self: Don't take this route again unless you want a new tranny!
