7-9 Today we pay!

The dogs have made me pay this morning after their mountain trip yesterday. Ron is fishing the Green River (finally a wadable river) here at Big Hole near Dutch John, UT and I'm cleaning up after two sick dogs who keep looking at me as if to say, "Why did you do this to us?" Next I'll be cooking white rice and boiled hamburger to settle their tummies. The scenery was great though......
As soon as Ron comes back we're heading for the Hoback River in WY. It's much cooler there and it's one of our favorite campgrounds. The Dripping Spring NFS campground here at Big Hole is beautiful even though a huge fire burned through here in 2002. The grasses and wildflowers are coming back. We've learned to appreciate the beauty after a fire as we've seen a lot of recovery in our travels. The river edges are covered with this interesting milkweed and thistle. Always something fun to find.
