8-16 Heading for the water hole

After "Goodnight Moon" we headed to a small watering hole not far from the entrance to the campground and found

the bison were stiring and starting to move across the road to the hole as part of their morning routine.

I went to the right behind a hedge row away from the bison and Ahmad went to the left across a small stream to shoot (photos of course) from the safety (?)of some trees. All was well, especially with those telephoto lenses.

"What?...You wanna piece of me?"

Suddenly I heard a lot of growling on the other side of the hedge row and this lovely bull came around the corner in my direction to which my response was to get outta there (after I took a shot or two). Ahmad came back over the stream just in time to have the bull coming towards me change direction and start heading towards him and the watering hole. Gave Ahmad a bit of a start. Think that bull was in a good mood this morning as he decided to leave us alone and we returned the favor.

After a great early morning it's always nice to be welcomed home. That's the chef (chief apple blueberry pancake maker - Ally's creation) and staff waiting for Carol, Ahmad, and me to join them for breakfast. Another perfect day!
