We left Rocky Mountain NP yesterday to come explore the Cache la Poudre River Canyon. It's a round about way to Steamboat Springs, CO but we are really happy we found this place. Check out our campsite at Kelly Flats National Forest campground. We're right on the beautiful river with a wonderful site. These national forest campgrounds are our absolute favorites. What little of your taxes go to our national forests is well spent. The campgrounds have all been in some of the most beautiful places and are always immaculately clean and not to mention a bargain at $7.50 or less per night. What's not to like? We drove through the town of Fort Collins, CO yesterday and stopped briefly for dog vittles. Looks like a beautiful little college town. Ron is off fishing. Big surprise there! I'm about to do a little hike along the river with the doggies.
Jet here: My wit has escaped me today. Can't think when my tummy is still rolling from yesterday's road trip. One more "S" curve and ................................
Denver here: She's right. Got those heebie jeebies again but I will admit it's kind of nice here. Morning coffee with Mom is the greatest.
Brea here: Cut the chit chat and let's hike. I like it along the river. Let's go see what my Dad is up to! It's a great day!
