Cape Perpetua

Tillicum Beach is located close to Cape Perpetua where we spent a cloudy, blustery afternoon with a National Forest Ranger learning about the critters that inhabit the coastal tidal pools. The sea stars (not star fish – because fish have bones) were beautiful. The pools were full of tiny little creatures and beautiful life such as the anemones. Walking on the sharp rock was tricky for us while the young ones just danced over them in their flip flops. Is that a sign of age? No, not possible!
