An update for friends of Sandy and Dave’s……..Photographing Dave photographing the flowers at Butchart Gardens with Sandy in the background brought to mind that their friends would probably want an update on the impending event. Yes, they are expecting and delivery will be in mid August after their return from our trip. Sandy and Dave are very nervous as this is their first one. At this stage of their lives did they do the right thing? Of course, as Sandy walked through the gardens she got many sympathetic looks from passers-by (at their age! – you know the look!). They would smile knowingly and Sandy would just lower her head and smile back.
Oh, what are you thinking? It’s not that. They’re expecting their 42’ BIG class A in mid August! They’ll be leaving us next Friday to deliver their Lazy Daze to its new home in CA and then head home to MN for the big delivery and full time life in their new motorhome. We’ve had fun traveling together and will miss them. We can’t wait to travel with them in their new motorhome. There will be many stories for the blog as we tell how they tried to squeeze their new motorhome into some little National Forest campground so they could camp with us! I know that’s what they will want to do!
JET here: Finally there are some people who have some sense. Why would anyone take a nice new Class A into the boonies? Maybe I’ll just have to travel with them in style!

We visited Butchart Gardens near the end of our San Diego-to-Vancouver cruise last May. But what is that big round thing above Dave's head? Something to keep away the bright sunshine?
