Well, here we are at Marble Canyon camped high above the launch site for the Grand Canyon Raft Trips. I don’t know if you can feel the heat coming off those cliffs but it’s hot up here. We arrived mid day and immediately turned on the a/c and took a three hour nap. The lizards were even comatose. We’re north of Flagstaff, where there was snow on the mountains, so what’s wrong with thinking it should be cool here? It feels like we’re back in Scottsdale after making a wrong turn. One thing for sure, we’re not staying here one minute after the rafts take off. Colorado or bust tomorrow!
