Get up! No, you get up! 6-29

Hey, all of you get up! We've got company coming and there's stuff to do. It's not easy to get the troops moving in the morning with that warm sun coming in the windows.

Our friends, Mike and Mary Jo, from Carbondale, IL are coming over this a.m. Yep, you remember, don't you....they're the ones we met on the Gallatin River in MT a couple of years ago where a little fishin' took place and a little sippin' took place with our peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. We've become good friends over the past two years and will be meeting up again in a couple of weeks on the North Fork of the Shoshone River near Cody, WY and then again in August on the Yellowstone River in MT. where Sandy and Dave will join us too. We wish Gil and Nancy did not have to fly back east in early August. There's going to be a party in MT I hear. It's nice that our RVing buddies will all know each other now.

Ah.....this lunch was a step up from pb and j. We're all talking about how we might just start coming to this Gunnison, Telluride area and hanging out for the entire summer as time goes on and gas goes higher. We're about 600 miles from home, the mountains are beautiful, the bugs are somewhere else, and there's many rivers to fish. Not a bad choice at $5 a gallon gas. Life is good! Who said the boys of summer had to be baseball players?
