Are we lucky?

Lucky us!

Jane here: Time is flying. On Friday, the 8th of June, we traveled our second segment of the original Columbia Gorge road. It was raining (big surprise there) at our campground in the shadow of the mountain but once we started traveling the sun broke out to a glorious day. Many waterfalls pour out of the rocks but the most magnificent of them all is Multnomah Falls, 620 feet high. It is something to see and made us glad we had decided to drive this narrow, twisty road.

Whoa Nelly! I'm back and none too soon. Who you say? Why it's me, JET (Jane's Evil Twin, the teller of truth on this RV adventure). I had planned to join them when they got to the coast where I can sun bathe in all my beauty but when she said we were all glad to drive this narrow, twisty road that was it! Did she tell you she darn near took us off the road while looking at the scenery? No, of course not. She is starting to drive like her friend Lu Ann who never misses anything on the sides of the road. That was one tiny narrow road and someone driving this big fat motorhome had better pay attention! She denies everything of course. Did she tell you that Ron is starting to like living in this kennel so much that the other morning while multi-tasking (a man multi-tasking???? impossible) he was nibbling on the dry shredded wheat he had put in his cereal bowl while he was fixing the dog's food when all of a sudden he popped a kibble in his mouth!!!!!!???? Did she tell you she drove off with the toilet bowl brush hanging from the step? Of course not. Now that's the way to add a real touch of class to your home. As you can see some things never change - things going smoothly this year? - Sure, it's goofiness as usual. Dogs talking to their friends???? Give me a break!

Jane here: Yes, she showed up this year just as we were thinking we'd be on our own to tell it like it is. Don't believe a word she says!
