The first day we arrived here on the Metolius we saw a Merganser duck who was having a bad hair day. I've searched and searched for one ever since then and this afternoon, our final day here, a Mom appeared with all her ducklings. You will need to double click on the photo to see them. What a nice reward from this beautiful place. As they swam upstream they encountered some whitewater and just fluttered their wings and kind of walked over the rocks. Very cute. It's been a great week on this beautiful river. Thanks again to our friend, Jan, for telling us to spend time in one of Pat's favorite places.
